For D.C.-area residents, Eden Center in Falls Church, Va., provides a visible anchor to the region’s Vietnamese American population. Recent U.S. Census estimates there are about 60,000 Vietnamese Americans in the greater D.C. Metro area. The expansive Eden Center is like a city in and of itself, with 120 restaurants, shops and other businesses – all Vietnamese.
